Bangkok
Bangkok is the capital and the largest city in Thailand. It is located in the southern part of Thailand on the east coast of Chao Phraya River near the Gulf of Thailand. According to some statistics there are more than 8.300.000 people that currently live in Bangkok. This city is one of the most dynamic cities in the world both economically and when it comes to entertainment too and that’s why it is such a popular travel destination on the tourist map of Thailand.
Phuket
Phuket is an island located in southwest Thailand in the Andaman Sea. Phuket is part of Phuket Province and the capital city of this island is also named Phuket. This is the largest island in Thailand and there are about 600.000 people who live there. Phuket Island is among the most popular travel destinations in Asia. One of the reasons for that is the pleasant tropical climate. Some of the most popular attractions on Phuket Island are:
– Patong, Karon, Kata, Kamala, Surin and Mai Khao Beach
– The statue of Buddha which is visible from most of the southern part of Phuket
– Wat Chalong one of the most important temples in Phuket

Chiang Mai
As we have mentioned before, Thailand hides many beauties in every direction. Chiang Mai is a city located in the northern part of Thailand. Although this is a relatively small city with 150.000 inhabitants, this city has a lot of things to offer and some of them are:
– Wat Suan Dok – a Buddhist temple and university
– Wat Chedi Luang one of the most notable religious buildings in this city
– Wat Chiang Man is believed to be one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Thailand (some 2000 years old)
